Functions of the Psychologist

  •  Orient and coordinate the development of curricular adaptations.

 

  • Give precise instructions on how to work with the different students with permanent or transient SEN (technical, methodological, didactic material).

 

  • Determine, together with the regular classroom teacher, the levels of student curriculum competence.

 

  • Attention and permanent follow-up to the cases of students with permanent and / or transient SEN.

 

  • Systematic psychological and psycho-pedagogical evaluation on the progress and limitations of the student with permanent SEN.

 

  • To carry out a global monitoring of the student’s learning processes in order to detect difficulties and special needs, in order to articulate the appropriate educational responses and to collect, in each individual case, the appropriate follow-ups and supports.

 

  • Serve as liaison with management and parents.

 

  • Classifies, codifies and archives the records of students and teaching and administrative personnel.

 

  • Applies and corrects psychological and psycho-technical tests.

 

  • Coordinates care agenda.

 

  • Analyzes and interprets the results of applied psychological and psychotechnical tests.

 

  • Management of group psychological tests.

 

  • File psychological and psycho-technical tests.

 

  • Complies with the rules and procedures on integral security, established by the Cabinet.

 

  • Maintains in order equipment and work site, reporting any anomaly.

 

  • Produces periodic reports on the activities carried out.

 

  • Coordinates with the multidisciplinary team the attention.

 

  • Socialize the information about curricular adaptations to the teachers of each section in a group way and in more detail individually.

 

  • Respect the systemic processes of attention, both with the student and with the parents, as well as with the teaching staff.
